1. Introduction
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of audio plugins, standalone software applications, and related digital products (collectively, "Products") sold through this website at https://www.celestialtextures.com ("Site"), operated by Celestial Textures (operated by Orestis Pefanis Ioannidis) ("we", "us", or "our").
By purchasing or downloading any Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or purchase any Products.
2. Products
We develop and sell the following types of digital products:
- Audio plugins in VST3, AU, and CLAP formats
- Standalone audio software applications (macOS .app / Windows .exe)
- Utility tools for music production and sound design
All Products are digital goods delivered electronically. No physical goods are shipped.
3. Payments & Pricing
All purchases are processed securely by Paddle (paddle.com), our authorised Merchant of Record. Paddle handles all payment processing, invoicing, and applicable tax (VAT/GST) collection on our behalf. When you complete a purchase, your contract for payment is with Paddle.
Prices are displayed in EUR (or your local currency as determined at checkout) and include applicable taxes where required by law. Current product prices are shown on our store catalog pages.
4. License
Upon completing a purchase, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to install and use the purchased Product for your own personal or commercial music production purposes, subject to these Terms.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, rent, lease, or sublicense the Product or any part of it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Product
- Remove or alter any copyright notices or license information included with the Product
- Share your license key or download link with third parties
5. Refund Policy
Please refer to our Refund Policy for full details on refunds and returns. As our Products are digital goods, refunds are handled in accordance with applicable consumer protection law and our stated refund terms.
6. Intellectual Property
All Products, including their source code, audio content, presets, and documentation, are the exclusive intellectual property of Celestial Textures and are protected by applicable copyright law. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights to you.
7. Compatibility & System Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure your system meets the minimum requirements for any Product before purchasing. We cannot guarantee compatibility with all hosts, operating systems, or hardware configurations. Please check product pages for system requirements before purchase.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Products are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Celestial Textures shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use our Products.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Product in question.
